I will say it will make a good frigate/corvette for the smaller navies that have displayed an interest in it.

The PHM's were faster, cheaper, and had better armaments for there size.

@crazygerman111 USS Fort Worth hade a few tweeks dune. Fort Worth is 381feet long. The stern was lengthened for follow on ships after Freedom for buoyancy. It actually allows it to move faster as well

Well, there are a lot of difference in design between LCS 1 and 3 designed by Lockheed&Martin in Marinette, Wisconsin, and General Dynamics LCS 2 design. True the tri-hull design makes less of a wake, but overall both designs have the same performance. LCS 1 and 2 both have a top speed of 56knots, but the real difference is in manuverablility. LCS 1 and LCS 3, USS Freedom and USS Fort Worth respectfully, are much more manuberable the LCS 2, USS Independece.

Sweet, the only thing that would make it sweeter would be it taking out TOWED targets left an right with the 5 inch gun. I say towed cause the US Navy thinks target practice is shooting at a very large orange ball they call the Killer Tomato. I say towed cause the would represent a better realistic target of a pirate skiff. Other than pirates, what else could get that close?

Looks like a standard frigate to me...

LCS-2 has a much smaller wake than LCS-1...guess that makes it faster. And that's important!

much more impressive performance that the LCS2, much more elegant too
