Cool video!!! Puemples is pronounced like "pimples," and i'm pretty sure the gravestones in the historical village are real, but the people who go with them are buried in the Swiss Church front yard.Maybe you should do a sequel-- visit the new brewery, and see the "chalet of the golden fleece," which is a museum downtown.--a local

that's an interesting video! There are really a lot of similar things to some swiss spots. sometimes you really think that IS switzerland. Which we also had some american-like town in Switzerland something like "Neu-Denver" or "Neu-Milwaukee" lol that'd be funny.

There is now a new brewery just south of town on Hwy 69. it looks like a Bavarian Village up on the hill, tasting room and gift shop. Also, I would definately recommend eating at Glarner Stube, on Sundays they have sauerbraten that kicks ass! Ribeyes are also great, and get the roesti!!! New Glarus has alot of festivals throughout the year including Oktoberfest, Volksfest..just google New Glarus! We live 5 miles away, ride our bikes there alot for a bier, lunch, or just to hang out!

best beer i've ever had was at new glarus....goin tomorrow. spotted cow ftw! too bad there is like no resturants, only bars. :(
