Incredible performance by one of the most important groups in jazz history, with trail-blazing special guest Eric Dolphy on alto. Only McCoy Tyner is still with us, they rest have left the bandstand but gave us some great recordings to marvel at and enjoy.

dolphys solo is bitchin---its unfathomable to think that this type of sound was taking place over 50 years ago--you go to a club now and hear this and it sounds fresh,hip and modern-incredible

@changeofaddress1 get a life im 14 and instead of listening to pop all the time i listen to John Coltrane and many other jazz musicians and this "noise" is called MUSIC DUMBY!

Listening to this is half the experience, having played this today I know the mastery that goes into such a song. This AABA format is hard to grasp, especially considering the optional solos and 4s that can be added in
