High altitude, extreme temperatures, strong winds, unpredictable weather, weight issues, limited resources and no place for mistakes. The Alpine Rescue Center offers courses on a high level that prepares mountain rescuers for the challenging operations under extreme conditions. After successfully completing the courses, a rescuer or paramedic might achieve the International Diploma of Mountain Emergency Medicine for Emergency Physicians or Paramedics, certified by ICAR, UIAA and ISMM.
