I cycled over this route on my way to Chamonix many years ago. It was the hardest day of my life, without doubt. This is not a pass for cycle touring! I can also remember that view over Martigny making it all worthwhile. That and the freewheel down the other side of the Col.This video is beautiful, and the quality is excellent. You're a lucky man to have this on your doorstep.

That is good to hear! From a satellite image, everywhere in the world looks similar and in parts of America it is as though a giant photocopier machine made everything look the same, miles and miles of the same buildings and franchises. Anything that takes people off the beat and track and shows them regional uniqueness and differences is wonderful. The slightly distorted music may be an acquired taste but I love it! Thank you, I look forward to more! :)

Hi, thank you for appreciating my videos. I will extend this job with many more parts of Switzerland.Effectively the vertical line in sunny is the major problem with the Panasonic's sensors. In an other side, what positif is the control of the dynamic of the image(Intelligent Exposure), wich improve the quality of the exposition.Best regards

I actually love all of these driving videos, became completely addicted and sometimes sit on my bed and drive with an imaginary steering wheel, waving at the farmers and towns people. The TZ7 seems excellent, is it as badly affected as the FZ38 with bright lights causing vertical lines?
