I could be wrong but, I 'm pretty sure that proceeds from this go to the Ronnie James Dio Cancer Fund. In my opinion that makes it a noble cause. It carries on DIO's will to "Help others afflicted with cancer" While bringing the fantastic music of DIO to a city near you. Members from the DIO band keeping the music alive for others is not a bad thing either.

I guess its the thing to do when a legend dies, pimp him out to the highest bidders. Maybe they can open up his house and give tours, or build Magicaland theme parks around the world. And maybe many years from now someone will find a secret self portrait that Ronnie painted of himself and they can print thousands of copies to sell. Nothing worse then death profiteers, I hope Ronnie reserves a corner of hell for the lot of you!

The RJD FB page has become nothing but a spam page, Dio baseballs??? Dio guitar picks?? Sure because he was a guitarist as well as a baseball player right?? It's not a cashgrab though? Can't wait for the shotglasses and underwear! And dare you say you dont like it or you'll be banned from the page. Dio Disciples, just another cashgrab, The other musicians have talent but they were each replaceable, Dio made Dio what it was and to try and tour without him is a travesty!

You know, like it or not, there are probably 1000 different cover bands out there playing Dio's music. Some good, some not so good. At least these guys are doing the music justice. They have the parts nailed down cold, the singers can hit all the high notes (no easy task), and the overall attitude is there. Even those crappy cover bands doing Dio stuff are making money. It doesn't bother me one bit that these guys are playing Dio's music. At least they're doing it well.

Get over yourself and quit being so sensitive. Dio Disciples are an homage to the master. From Wendy Dio - "Commented Ronnie James Dio's widow and manager Wendy: "There will never be another Ronnie, but we want to keep his music alive and hope you will support the band and become one of the DIO DISCIPLES" (the quote is from the Blabbermouth(dot)net article.

seems like a pathetic form of profiting at the expense of the master's death. I will keep memories of him live ... about a year ago I attended a concert real tribute to Dio, that is, musicians from various bands versioning your subjects without admission fee. That will remind you without getting anything in return, although the hours you spend learning your instrument parts. I see this quite despicable, frankly. Of course, everyone is free to go or not this bolus is quite respectable.

Nice video. Is there a place online the full video is being shared at?
