Ralf is the new 12 year Elixir worth a go or just a gimmick to shift stock?

Fear not. I'm chilled. I thought maybe I'd missed something. That maybe you're always being asked about this, hence your emphatic 'no' plus exclamation mark, which slightly took me aback. I have now seen your no. 138 review of the 18 year old where you talk a little about the 10, and the apple juice thing. I'm actually tasting it for the first time right now, as I write, and it seems okay, although I should perhaps say I am a complete beginner at this malt malarkey. COMPLETE beginner

your not being rude and not asking a impertinent question, chill dude ! . . . Jura 10 is one of the most consistently mediocre malts around and goes well with apple juice.

Okay, that's me told. Sorry for my rudeness in daring to ask such an impertinent question.

Hi Ralfy. Love your reviews!! Any plans to do the Jura 10. . . ?

I've just tried the Jura 10 which is excellent so I can only imagine how good the 15 yr is, the 10 was the only one available and new to the store so I will be getting this again until the 15 is available, very good

seems an expensive version of Jura, so I hope the quality is decent. Don't forget to check out the Independent Bottlers like Signatory and Duncan Taylor for Jura's. |
