HI You are from Australia, right ! :o)). Go for the stated Scorpio motor and 14 or 15S 5000Pack, I use TMM 100A 63V controler. I can supply you with that if you have problem fix that locally, The Scorpio motor is the only one that I have found that can take 100A. I have flown mi setup on 12cells and it is not powerful enough. The PC-21 will be around 10kg so you need to power it cording to that. And the cool sound will you only get if you go for the high power setup.Best regardsTomas

@HABElectronicAB Thankyou for your reply... the info is very helpful. I have never used such high power set-up before and was going to start with a 160 size electric motor with 245kv on 10 cell hopefully spinning a carbon 3 blade 17 or 18inch prop with around 12 pitch. I imagine it would give a modest 3000W. I am fairly new to electrics and didnt want to risk burning the model up, but if you believe I can match your set up for reasonable $ I would appreciate your assitance with items.Jason

With 15S 5000mAh cells, You will fly around 10min.Planning in the future go for 10000W in that plane :o))The plane is flying great and it looks fantastic in the air, the sound is as close you can get the real thing and turboprop engine will not sound better.Go for the possition lights also , that makes the plane stand out.Is that helping??Best regards

hello JasonI hade no good spinner at that time so, I flown after with spinner without problems. ESM will have a PC-21 spinner soon.I have tried 3 blade and it sucks, best so far was the Graupner G-sonic 20x12.current in air is aprox 65A at full trotle level flyght. rpm aprox: 10 000 . maximum current on ground 105A , and some 85-90A in air going strait up.The plane is able flying on 10 to 15A, on 30A its nice crusing speed.Mi flite was usualy about 6-7 min , I used some 3000-3300mAh

Brilliant work and greata flying. I love the look and the sound... its exactly what I was looking for. I would really appreciate data on flight times and amp draw at full throttle. Have you tried a three blade prop? and can you use a spinner or does that restrict airflow over the motor?Regards,Jason (Australia)
