Gandhigiri Time: Boycott Swiss to get the Money back! Cutting across party lines, several political parties, NGOs and activists came together under umbrella at the historic Azad Maidan here and demanded that Swiss products and tourism should be boycotted as Switzerland is being used by Indian politicians and businessman to hide their ill-gotten wealth and also it became a Financial Terrorist Outfit by sheltering the accounts of terrorist outfits under its bank secrecy. The protest was organised by Sami Bubere, the President of Sahyog Cultural Society. During the freedom movement, Mahatma Gandhi gave the clarion call to boycott British products, now it is time to give a call to boycott Swiss products, this is like a new freedom struggle and we will have to fight this with Gandhigiri spirit. Bubere said. Yes, 70,00,000 crores rupees of India are lying in Switzerland banks, but they say we are still backward, poor and illiterate. This is the highest amount lying outside any country, from amongst 180 countries of the world, as if India is the champion of black money, he pointed out that asked citizens to come together and put pressure on the Indian government to get this money back from Swiss Bank. We also protest that the UPA government and NDA opposition though they sing mile sur mera tumhara in the said issue but they differ to act or failed to pressurize Swiss Bank, he said. If the amount Rs 1,500 billion dollars is brought back, every Indian family would get Rs 2.5 lakh. Besides, we would be having tax-free budgets for 30 years and the entire debt of the country would be wiped out.
