The NATO strap really makes this Kobold stand out with an 'uber-millitary" look... Matte black with a black NATO strap? Sinister... Nice watch\strap combo. I'd wear it in a heartbeat!

The buckle on the lether strap should be black pvd plated too.

@sparks12001 well bud, then maybe you should stick to Target and get the cheapies. It's like driving a BMW versus Chevy and a matter of taste. They both get you there, but some of us appreciate class and quality.These are mechanical masterpieces and for guys who don't wear gold chains and bracelets, we appreciate the finesse of well engineered watches.This is a great watch. My favourites are Breitling, but Kobald and others are a unique addition to the 'fleet'.

I love when companies call their items "tactical" and feel they can charge an arm and a leg. Then they donate one of their items to one lucky guy in the unit and advertise that "this is used by" so and so. There is way too much glare on the crystal. Maybe an anti-reflective coating could have been added? And by the way, that coating on the case scratches leaving a horrible looking mess. Give us a case that is inherently flat black, not coated -- maybe tungsten or ceramic?
