@tikiduck The clasp will not close all the way unless the folding dive suit extension is tucked in correctly. If they didn't do this the right way, it would feel as if the clasp was broken and unable to close. You should go back and try again with the exact same watch. Check out this video 6cJH-hr6140 at about 4 minutes into it. You will be able to see exactly how to do it. Please report back =)

I was checking one out at the dealer, and the clasp would not close at all. It really blew my high because I was ready to buy one right then, but passed because it was such a pisser to me.It does not speak well of Omega's quality control to let a watch go to retail that has a non functioning clasp.

Update - My first watch was replaced by my local Omega Dealer with a new one :)(except for the bracelet, which i wore)BTW, is it true that Omega is discontinuing the 1538 Caliber Quartz watches?This include the SMP with the wave dials.

@semuelt its not fake their all like that actually ive noticed that too, its a very miniscule amount but the right back is every so slightly larger than the left one. |
