More or less, that's the way harpsichord is, isn't it?

great performance, but the harpsichord part is such a distraction. It's just a buzzing noise, 'like the sound of two skeletons copulating on a tin roof"

great music but this is WAY OUT OF SYNC... :(

The first time I heard this concerto was as a young boy visiting Carlsbad Caverns and this exhilerating music reverberated throughout the catherdral like chambers, riding along with the cold air and darkness, creating a combination of beauty between that of nature and man that I can still feel electrify me across the decades as if it were but yesterday!

Don't wanna be a spammer about it, but being a fan of Reinhard Goebel's interpretation of this movement, everything else (including this) kinda makes me wanna sleep... but that's probably just me. :)

Um, rock'n'roll is certainly an invention of the 1950s - fast, fun, dancy music obviously has been around for a bit longer ;)Just like you'll easily find "swung" rhythms in the late middle ages (or renaissance, I forget), but jazz has been "fused" in the beginning of the 20th century... you know...Btw, if you wanna listen to the thrash metal version, look no further than Musica Antiqua Koeln's performance of this movement :D

Your comment there really doesn't prove anything that rock and roll wasn't invented in the 1950's, just that it's a good song... |
