I like the speed, but the cost is too damn high. I would rather build half a dozen Gowinds at the same price.

@SgtDrDeath All of which are adequate for small nations, and inadequate for a global power.Visby is too small, under-armed, short legged, and almost blind while the Gotland is too slow and short legged for a global navy.

@SgtDrDeath USS Texas(US Sub) can strike 75% of the Earth from 1 launch. It's bigger and can go in maneuver in more shallow waters than smaller subs, and it's faster, more stealthy, and more agile than any other submarine ever developed.

Sweden is the only country to have today 5 operational true stelth ships. And our submarines are top of the line (stelth).Visby is based on submarine thinking in many ways to get stelth in all aspects.

@eeboj Swedes are at least 100 years behind the US when it comes to naval power and leadership.

@BOGOWA22:The Swedes are at least 10 years ahead of the US when it comes to stealth littoral combat ships. Anyhow I did spot some Swedish tech onboard the LCS 2: A Bofors Gun and a 3D Radar from Saab Microwave Systems.

the year is 2039 future US destroyer USS Minute is intercepted by Chinese Naval fleet including 2 destroyers, 3 frigates and 3 coastal fast attack ship incorporating latest stealth technology. Chinese fast attack craft close the distance quickly but USS Minute begins complex evasion manoeuvres generated by Google's and Microsoft designed software. Minute exchanges fire with the smaller ships using airburst munitions, whilst its rail gun begin to engage the closing frigates and destroyers.
