@babaradio actually schwizer dütsch means all swiss dialects as a whole. their is no official schwizer dütsch language, the official language is german, the same german as they speak in germany. bärn dütsch is a german dialect. you won't learn schwizer dütsch in school because its not a language. Every language has its origins in its medieval past. so thats logical, for nearly everything in life an nothing special about schwizer dütsch. but bern's architecture is medieval.

yeah, you won't have any problems getting around in Bern. I was there a few years ago and was really impressed at how easy it was to navigate the city. The people there are friendly and the city is of a decent size that you could walk most of old town on foot

There isn't a lot to see in Canada, but a lot to do. It's not an old country, so you don't have a lot of museums or old cities but the outdoors are amazing. Best skiing, snowboarding, hunting, camping, hiking, etc in the WORLD.
