The K-1200 "K-MAX" is one of the most amazing helicopters ever seen. Its twin rotor system, with wooden blades, uses the principle of the 2nd world war German Flettner machines. With its power of 1800 shp, the K-MAX is able to lift up to 6'000 lb (2'700 kg). The K-MAX is so silent that some of tham are equipped with a siren and a loundspeaker to inform people on the ground when they want to land! Unfortunately, only 38 K-MAX were built from 1991 to 2003.---Le K-1200 "K-MAX" est l'un des hélicoptères les plus étonnants jamais vus.
